On the way back we head to Alfaborg, the city of the Elves, an area recognized for its traditional folklore tales which many of the locals still believe in to this day. It is the home to the hidden people of Iceland, so keep a close eye on the rocks, you may be lucky enough to spot the queen of the Elves herself! The tour ends at the local café in Borgarfjordur Eystri (refreshments payable locally).
